About the artist
Watercolour, oil, mixed media artist
Katia is a UK-based watercolour, pastel and mixed media artist. Born in 1981 in the USSR, she attended an art college and later numerous master classes, workshops, and online and offline courses by artists from all around the world. From the opening up of the Soviet Union, Katia has enjoyed travelling and discovering new places around the world from Europe to South America to Asia. Sketching was always been her passion and a way to keep memories from places she visited. Katia believes that art can help us to survive through difficult times as it has done many times in the past.
