About the artist

My love of the North Cornish coastline stems from my childhood growing up in Trebetherick (near Polzeath). I have always been in awe of how the ever-changing seas, skies and sands relate to the glorious rocks and cliffs at the mouth of the Camel Estuary. Cliff-top and beach painting has its challenges but the rewards are great I am aiming to capture the wild spirit of this much-loved landscape in oils and oil pastels and bring it to Sevenoaks. What a wonderful challenge!
