About the artist

I develop my drawings and ideas through etching which allows exploration and a variety of techniques. The inspiration and starting point for my work has always been the landscape.

 

I live on the North Downs amongst woodland and fields where I walk and draw. It is so diverse ever changing with many moods, the rythym, changing light,colours and patterns are fascinating. The Sussex coast is another source of for my work. I use many different media for drawing to capture images. The life drawing I also enjoy doing, I find is akin to the forms I see in the landscape.
