Etchings, prints and decorative ceramics.

I live in Hurst Green and have been Printmaking and producing Studio Pottery on and off for more than 20 years.

​

My printmaking is inspired by nature and the coast and consists mostly of etchings on zinc or copper plates, although I do utilise relief, drypoint and monoprint techniques as well as lino printing.

 

Each ‘plate’ is inked by hand and normally forms a part of a small edition of about twenty prints. The images are often available as Greetings Cards.

​

The individual pieces of pottery tend to be for domestic use and individual/unique. The decorative patters and glaze colours adopted may be similar over several pieces.
