Oil painter, contemporary, expressive.

 

Contemporary and figurative works in oil, using expressive and colourful palettes. Handmade frames.

Sue draws creative and eclectic inspiration from places that she loves, particularly the Kent coast, its harbours, and beaches where she walks and cycles. The ever changing moods of the sea, its energy, calm harbours and golden sunsets provide her inspiration. The joy of art for her is seeing a client drawn to a painting because it resonates with them too. She hopes that her work reflects her enthusiasm and passion for her art, and her delight in colour, tones, and experimentation. Hand made frames in solid wood. She exhibits in Kent and Sussex galleries, and accepts commissions.
