About the artist

Painter

​

I am an expressive oil painter inspired by the natural environment. My love of big skies, wild weather, the sea and nature provides endless inspiration for my work. Light and atmosphere are a big focus for me and Immersing myself in the landscape on long walks is an essential part of my artistic process. My paintings are intuitive and a reflection of my emotional response  and memory. My fascination with the seasonal transitions are reflected in the mood and tone of my paintings. I aim to capture the essence of my connection with what is around me and paint with energy and movement.
