About the artist

Emergence for me encapsulates myself evolving into an older woman, mother and my place in the world. My pursuit with paint or ink is a constant reflection of my response to living and to the medium itself.

Sometimes I feel so full of images and ideas but with scant time, I have revisited sketching: a concertina of all these moments and reflection – hopefully to be consolidated on canvas someday.

Main opening: Weds to Sun 10am–6pm

Late opening times: Fri and Sat 10–9 pm

Studio closed: Mondays and Tuesdays

I live at Jessops Farm so am there much of the time, on call. Although as AIJ co-ordinator I will often be out visiting studios.
