About the artist

Painter, En Plien Air, Landscape

 

As an artist I get my inspiration from painting in oils, en plien air in the Kent countryside, immersing myself in the natural world. My goal is not merely to depict the scenery but to capture the essence of the place, a fleeting moment in time infused with light, colour and atmosphere.

 

Ultimately my art is a dialogue between myself and the landscape. Its a journey of discovery a constant pursuit of capturing the soul of the southern counties through the lens of oil paint. In 2023 I was lucky to be selected to take part in 'Landscape Artist of the Year' as wildcard at Hever Castle.

Directions

Take the B2026 Hartfield Road heading south from Edenbridge. Turn left at Cowden Pound Road, Queens Arms pub on the right. Follow the road for about half a mile and turn right at the signs for Falconhurst Farm Shop.

Except Fri 14th and Sat 15th, early close at 3 pm
