About the artist

Pencil and pastel artist

I have always loved drawing and painting but have had no formal training as such, apart from various classes and courses over the years. I’m currently inspired by interesting faces but old brickwork and architectural details have always attracted me – I do love a good ruin! I enjoy the challenge of life drawing as well as the occasional cat, especially the big variety. I work mainly in pencil and pastel but enjoy mixed media and sketching in ink with watercolour.
