About the artist

Lisa Ryszkowska is an artist with a fascination for colour, texture and light. Spectacular skylines, sun-drenched landscapes and colourful abstracts are her passion and translation onto canvas is bold and emotive.

Lisa’s paintings are eminently modern whilst exuding a timeless style. Individual works are inspired by an ever-changing London skyline as well as a love for travel. Look a little closer to home though and you’ll find Lisa immersed in nature, earnestly studying big skies and dramatic landscapes in the beautiful Weald of Kent.

​

Using a combination of impressionistic and abstract approaches, Lisa captures the atmosphere of a chosen place or conveys a mood through contrasting palettes and textures. Lisa’s mark making is fluid and instinctive, resulting in works of art that embody the subtle, tactile and stormy qualities of her style.

Lisa uses a combination of acrylic, mixed-media and watercolour techniques. Originals and Giclée prints are available for purchase.

Take the B2026 Hartfield Road heading south from Edenbridge. Turn left at Cowden Pound Road, Queens Arms pub on the right. Follow the road for about half a mile and turn right at the signs for Falconhurst Farm Shop.
