About the artist

Potter and painter

​

Initially I focused on ceramic sculptural heads (Camberwell School of Art (1986-89) but in later years reconnected with throwing which I teach at all levels. I am influenced by nature and this features heavily in both my painting and pottery and I have started experimenting fusing both of these passions. My textured stoneware ceramic vases incorporate slips, underglazes and glaze. Alongside I have a range of functional tableware.

The Longhouse Studio is opposite Lingfield racecourse in a complex of converted farm buildings known as New Place Farm. There are two oak built garden rooms forming the studio.

Friday to Sunday from 10 am to 3 pm on 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, 15,  20, 21 and 22 June
